If you look at the meaning of the prefix and suffix con, and dom respectively it makes sense that the most famous of the two combined is a Trojan, as dom means a state of being and con means together or with. When you are in a "state of being" "together" with someone, Trojan or whoever named it the condom came up with an appropriate word for their product as it aptly describes sex.

Defeat what? You or or unwanted pregnancy and disease. It can go either way. Latex condoms work only if unbroken and if disease pathogens are big enough to stay within the confines of bidirectional latex barrier during intercourse. Condoms can protect but is not 100%. We use them because we trust them. But should we?

Trojan is the perfect name for a brand of CONDOMS. Story goes like this..... A large, hollow, wooden horse filled it with Greek soldiers(Sperm or disease pathogens) came into Troy territory(a sexual partner male or female/ or even both sexual partners simultaneously) undetected. The Trojans were in the end defeated by the Greeks after a ten year war between them (becoming infected with a disease or unwanted pregnancy)

Well, if u really 1na break it down, it's quite simple. The condom is 1 of the biggest farces in 2day's society! Most people who use it r doing so outside of God's plan--namely by having sex b4 marraige. As far as the name Trojan is concerned, let's look at the Trojan horse. It was used as a decoy n order 2 disrupt the lives of innocent people, looking like a harmless gift. However, on the inside, there was trouble. People who use the condom outside of a monogomous marital relationship r taking away the innocence of those whom they use it upon. What it boils down 2 is this: Things are a lot simpler if done God's way!!!

I think Con is saying that a person is ruthless to get what they want with no regard to others including lying to achieve their goals,I think dom means king of his domain

I think such a person would be could a ruthless warrior at war meaning TROJAN.
