I think the government is 2 concerned about their own saving face than whats really good 4 any1. I just worked 4 years 4 the military and i believe to them the world is a place where they need to feel in power or else they feel weak. When will they learn that strength is weakness and weakness is strength?

Everythang about NATO is backwards.

Outside of the U.N. building in New York is a very famous statue of a man beating a sword into a plowshare, with the words of Isaiah 2:4 boldly carved in marble.

NATO is nothing more than the "long sword" of the U.N., putting on airs of being the the worlds peace keepers, they are constantly in the forefront of much of today's blood shedding. Yet Revelation 13:9,10 warns, "If anyone will kill with the sword, he must be killed with the sword." Was the second sword mentioned in this scripture referring to NATO. Well, while the nations are lifting up sword against nation (Matthew 24:6,7)...what should true followers of Christ be doing? Continue reading Christ's directions in verses 9-30. Notice verse 30 describes Jesus' appearance when he arrives to put an end to all of this senseless bloodshed once and for all. Now, compare this with a further description at Revelation 19:11-14. Notice in Do God's children on earth at this time participate in ANY way during this great war or any other wars preceding it? NO...this is God's war. Our war, in the meantime, is not a fleshly one, but a spiritual one (2 Cor. 10:3,4; Ephesians 6:10-13). We yield the mighty sword of God's Word (verse 17), while awaiting the fulfillment of Psalm 46:9, "He is making wars to cease".

So, the UN/NATO is not fulfilling the scripture that they have so hypocritically carved in marble. But God's Word assures us that in the very near future these words will be fulfilled by Christ's true followers!!!
