I am sure that whichever company O(+> chooses, he will make the right decision based upon his experiences with them, their reputation and the quality of their employees. I believe that if he has good vibes with those he will be working with, that is all that is necessary. Nothing is guaranteed to work or not work. We never know what the outcome will be beforehand. If we did, we would always make the right decisions, and what would we learn? How would we be able to help others? The answer is, we would not be able to. There is only one perfect one and most of us can't even heed His advice.

I like Arista more than Sony, only by name. The most important thing is that it GETS released!!!

Choose the company with an A&R manager who functions best as a bathroom
mirror. You need such a mirror to check when you go into public.
And an A&R manager could do even more. Apart from reflecting what you do, he
could advise you. And he could even keep you from going out of the bathroom
until you made some little changes.
The A&R manager from whom The Artist will accept the deepest intervention,
i.e. the one he trusts mosts, should be the one.
