Here is a letter from some1 who cares at an Indianapolis center that seeks your support: Woman to Woman is a HIV/AIDS prevention, intervention, and education program for at risk women and their partners. The program promotes the idea that safer sex is one of the many tools that women must use in their quest for empowerment. We acknowledge that many women do not view their sexuality or sexual health as an essential component in their lives and are often they are faced with issues that seemingly more important: finding/maintaining economic stability and security;caring for children, partners, and family members; and sustaining their intimate relationships. Therefore, the Woman to Woman Program has attempted to create a village of support to help women address these and other issues that affect and impact their lives. We address issues such as poverty, gender inequality, domestic violence, sexual abuse, the importance of spiritual growth, sexually transmitted diseases and substance use/abuse.
