Paid for the third time. I have tears in my eyes.
First, I would like to say thank you so much for the gifts. I like the
password trick - Cute.
I recognize the beats from U Make My Sun Shine from music that was playing
just before the Hit & Run show in Vegas 2 weeks ago... It's playing now or
should I say its floating in air like feather from Forest Gump.
I am gonna wear these jams out. I hate to sound greedy, but please, can we

"U Make My Sun Shine" is wonderful. It sounds inspired, unpredictable and heartfelt. I think it's one of the best things he's done in 10 yrs and one of the few songs that stands up to his work in the 80's. "When Will We B Paid" is very well-perfomed and impassioned. I don't like the lyrics, however. They don't seem as relevant, today. I think African-Americans are facing newer and much different problems than this song addresses. The song "2045: Radical Man" addresses more current problems in the Black community.

It sounds to me like Prince is more at-one with himself than ever. It's nice to hear his heart again in his creations. The falsetto screams, the background chants, multiple playful instruments, his confidence and emotion all in one. Now if we could only get him to finally put out these creations on to a disc with about 12 more songs....hmmmm....what is that called......hmmm.....I know, A NEW CD RELEASE. DEAR SIR, WE ARE WAITING TO PAY, please don't make us wait any longer. Please, Please, Please.
Pittiful, huh? Look forward to a release date with Check Card in Hand.

Both trax are HOT!!! I especially love "When Will We B Paid." The feeling and intensity you put into the song (both vocally and instrumentally) nearly melted my speakers. I love that kind of carrying on!!!
Please drop a new album SOON -- filled with trax that have the same "real" vibe as these two. You are (IMmostHO) on the *RIGHT* track for the next phase of your career if these songs are an indication of where you're headed with the next record.
In closing, I wanted to add that "I love you." Your music brought me through some terrible times growing up gay in a small, southern redneck town and I honestly don't know what I would have done without it!!! If you ever wonder if your career has made a difference in this world, I can tell you here and now that it *DID* for me.

Found! I havent listened to them yet, but I feel obliged to say THANK YOU!!!! to Prince. For the downloads, and for the freedom. I will do my part and call the stations in my area, and make some money for the NPG. I worked with Angie in NY (as an engineer), so many props to Prince for his sharpness.
Those jams are off the hook, I love them. Have the gospel vibe running way through them. Prince, as always you are creating some of the most beautiful music that I have heard come from your mind. Let's have some more.

The new jams are tight!!! It's a shame that I have to
go to another city to hear Prince's music. One thing
that I find to absolutely amusing it the fact that
Prince's hometown won't even play these songs because
they can't face the TRUTH!!! We have a new radio
station here in Minnesota (B96) and at first they
played all his music until they came completely online
and we haven't heard a Prince song since.
Hmmmm...Were they willing to do the work???
When will we be paid for the work we've done?

well, I just want to let you know that I thought the whole idea of the hidden
downloads was very cool. I love the anticipation and suspense and I loved
figuring out the links to get to the songs, it was fun. The songs themselves
are beautifull.....I had heard "You make my sunshine" b4 and I had heard you
perform "When will we b paid" at the Worcester hit and run show, but I love both
songs and truly appreciate having a great quality mp3 of them, just can't wait
till they come out on disc....eh-hem....:) Angie Stone's voice is beautiful
and compliments Prince nicely, of course Prince's voice is always
amazing.....gives me chills...everytime :)especially in "You make my sunshine"
when he says my name....haha LOL
I know you guys read Prince.org and I'm afraid you'll see Bart's (yeah, you
know) comments and stop there.....please don't, from what I've read 99.9% of us
on that site love what you did and are enjoying the songs tremedously.....I just

My stars!!!!! This is what I miss from today's radio "hitlist" (I wanted to
put the letter "s" in front of the word 'hitlist' ...but I know God don't
like ugly!) The guitar-work on "When Will We Be Paid?" is nasty... in a
very, very GOOD way. I coulda flowed to at least 15 more minutes of
that-there!!!

I just wanted 2 say THANX ever so much 4 those 2 new kick-ass songs that have been put up 4 download.
They make the best present I could've imagined 4 X-mas. A good tune beats a fancy watch or xpensive whateva anytime, cuz it's something U will keep with U 4 the rest of Ur life.
Fcuz I no that the songs come from Prince himself, but I also want 2 ad that U do a great job at the artwork and direction of the site. I liked the interactivity that came with the downloads, and the freezerburn cool graphics.
