I have been a fan (turned fam) since ATWIAD blew my mind while I was completely in love with Purple Rain. I m getting all sentimental here, but I have never thanked tha Man for his music and hope you can just tell him a heartfelt thank you for everything his music has given me these years (my endorphins have been trippin ), and will in the years to come. He is inspiring and always exciting. I am lucky to feel his music like I do.
Well, since I am this lucky and you all have given us this new grooves, it s payback time. I want to donate USD 50, but I wonder if it is possible for you to charge my credit card as money orders and such are a costly hassle in Norway?

"When Will We Be Paid" - is a spritual, powerful, thought-provoking song. It is hard to comprehend why many people in the past and even now are not treated fairly, and why so many people in all parts of the world suffer. God help us all. "You Make My Sunshine" is also spiritual. It is the kinda of love that we all yearn for, and all wanna have. Thank you Prince, you make our sun shine, our stars shine, or moon shine, you just be makin us all kinds of happy!

The day "Rave Un2 the Joy Fantastic" was released, I
dressed up nice for it; dressed up nice like I was
going to church when I walked into the record store to
buy it. After so many years of new energy from this
man, how could the respect be any less? Every song is
like a world--and a different world every time. If I
had thought about it, I'd have dressed up proper and
sat up straight while these two songs were
downloading. Swirls of layers of music in both songs--
sudden stops and starts-- a really cool kind of
change-up near the end of "U Make My Sun Shine..."
Those multiple-voice background vocals, on both songs,
do make the walls shake. Wish Ray Charles had those
kind of backgrounds on his "I Can't Stop Loving You"
and "Georgia". Another aspect of Prince's talent that
doesn't get mentioned as much is the range and
nimbleness of his voice; it's like he can choose from
many: deep, especially on the chorus of "When Will We
Be Paid...", and supremely high on "U Make My Sun
Shine". Rapping on "P Control", gospel on "Still Would
Stand All Time", rocking on "Peach", everywhere on
"Solo", hilarious on "Movie Star" and "Bacon
Skin"...his vocals are as chameleon as his
music...Anyway, I love it when Prince's songs go
straight for the truth, unapologetically; the "coffee"
is the "cream" on "When Will We Be Paid..." It's a
hard, true song. The kind of song that pounds in the
blood; probably where the truth should get to.
I must commend The N.P.G.online 4 the love and trust that was demostrated on
Dec.21st. To release the truth "Free of Charge" to those of us who needed to
hear it. That's an idea created from love. If only God's children could be as
trusting as u all.

These 2 tracks R better than the entire Rave CD.... They R amazing....

When Will We B Paid
I didn't quite know what to expect from such a title but as soon as I heard the first verse, I knew that this was a very important work. As an African American, I can't help but be proud of Prince's courage and willingness to take a stand for what's right. Ofcourse, this was not the first tribute to the plight of African Americans by Prince but I don't see many artists keeping it at the forefront of our minds the way he does. I would just like to say thanks to Prince for staying true to himself and to his people.

At 4am as I awoke here in the cold midwest, I played You Make My Sunshine
and it warmed me body and soul! I heard it last week for the first time,
and can't get it out of my head. Your music has been part of my life since
i saw the Purple Rain concert at the Tacoma Dome. Your words have always
touched me, but you must be right with God because it shows through your
music. Thank you for using your influence to challenge people to search for
the knowledge of truth. I'm doing the work by teaching my children to keep
their mind and bodies pure (no animal products, no junk food, no tv), and to
follow God's path for their life to acheive true happiness.

i love the new songs mostly "you make my sun shine" that song is a radio
hit if i ever heard one i have it on cd and play it during my slow set at the
club and the girls love it.Hot 105 here in south fl was playingi know they
play it during the quite strom but they play alot of prince some times they
will play a whole hour of just his love jams at night.
So anyway,it should be time for a new prince or npg cd right it was this time
last year that rave unto the joy came out so it should be time for a new cd
well when its time i guess you guys will put the shout out.

The duet with Angie Stone is absolutely beautiful. The song is soulful. Introspectively as a women I find the lyrics inspiring and truthful. The lyrics magnify "black" women especially and are a testimony to "whats going on". Now I'm gonna pick up Angie Stones' CD. SunShine should be released to the R&B stations.
I've learned much about the love, life, and knowledge from the wealth of music Prince has created over the years.

I am, 1st of all, most joyous that U R who U R, and how U R. Meaning, the
most gifted of all musicians since before the fall of Lucifer from grace. I
believe that God must've been thinking, 2 himself, "I need to hear real music
1nce again!" And thus, He created U.
But onwards to the response. I have to agree with God, in the fact that
there isn't real music to listen 2 anymore, with the exception of a few. I
only pray that with the release of these tunes, the world will realize what
they've lost -- true musicianship. "When will we B paid" is the truth that
many have thought about, but nobody would speak about. Thank U. And the
other tune -- oh my! The chords, arrangements, and vocals are truly a gift
sent straight from Heaven. A few weeks back, there was a tune that was
sampled when U logged N2 the site. It had a line, "She arrived on a 747."
What was this tune, and will it be released on NE 4thcoming albums?
I want 2 encourage U with my prayers. I pray that God continues to bless U

be included on a new album. "U Make My Sun Shine" is lush and sensual while
"When Will We Be Paid", is fresh and funky! I was dancing all over my room
