Hi!
The show in Montreal was wonderful.I saw every show in the city. The first one was, of course the best. This one ,in my mind ,the second best .Every time I bring someone new to your show they always tell me the same thing; " it`s like he makes love to all of us " they tell me.But I tell them it`s like getting to the hedge of a orgasm. It `s like when it get so good , you don`t want it to end . That what your concert is all about to me. feelings I never felt before.
I wish I could afford to see a concert here in Montreal and one in the states to compare both shows.I really hope you hold a special place for us in Montreal;because I know a lot of people who hold a special place for you here.

Whew!!
Walking into the Molson Centre last night we had no idea just how funky
an evening we were going to get. Let me say that I am definitely tuned in to
WNPG!! As a musician and long time fan I can only say that the listening was
superb. We danced until we sweat, I think that my hips were still going when
I woke this morning! How wonderful to see a group of musicians so in
control. After last year's Jazz Fest , ( where I walked away in a pure
musical bliss ), and last night's jam I can only say that I'm with you no
matter what! Glad to hear you railin' against the corporate music machine.
Emancipation!!
Lovin' it all, Marc

Last night was the 4th time that I saw Prince performing in Montreal. And
what a show it was. It all started when coming back from the bathroom; I
came face to face with Maceo.
Less then 5 minutes later, he was beside me playing sax on the Rainbow
Children.
Even if I have all Prince’s album, I did not know all of the songs that the
NPG played last night but here is a list of what I remember (they are not in
sequence):
The Rainbow Children - The Rainbow Children
Muse 2 the Pharaoh - The Rainbow Children
Mellow - The Rainbow Children
1+1+1 is 3 - The Rainbow Children
Family Name - The Rainbow Children
The Everlasting Now - The Rainbow Children
The Other Side Of The Pillow - The Truth Crystal Ball
Nothing Compares 2 U - The Hits
Strange Relationship - Sing ‘O The Time
Adore - Sing ‘O The Time
Take me with you - Purple Rain
The Beautiful ones - Purple Rain
Purple Rain - Purple Rain
I wanna be your lover - Prince
La, La,La means I Love U - Emancipation Disk III
When you were mine - Dirty Mind
Diamond and pearls - Diamond and pearls
Days Of Wild - Crystal Ball Disk III
Do Me, Baby - Controversy
Raspberry beret - Around the World in a Day
I know that there is more, they played 3 hours of music (and they could have
done more: Shhh and Gold from The Goal Experience or The Greatest Romance
Ever Sold and Baby Knows from the Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic album per
example.)!
My only disappointment is that they did not do Zannalee.
I named my daughter Zannalie. She is the only one in Quebec and she is
probably the only one in Canada. What can I say; I’m a fan.
See you all next time
Jean-Francois.

Thank you for taking Montreal on a musical journey led by some of the finest musicians on the planet. Your 3 hour concert was a well needed lesson in Funk that this city surely needed. As for myself, I went to the concert with an open mind and discovered a new artist. Your concert was pleasing to the eyes, ears and heart

My name is Dennis Cappuccilli and I just wanted to thank Prince and company
for putting on such an incredible show! As an 18 year old I feel I speak
honestly when I say that Prince has fallen from the superstar status he had
attained, but I say good. Most kids my age hate Prince, and the Prince they
hate is "Raspberry Beret" Prince. However, I say that the fall was the best
thing that ever happened to him because now he does what he wants to do with
his music, not what Warner Bros. wants him to do. And thats what I like from
musicians, their soul. Not a well produced, cookie cutter, dime-a-dozen
untalented chart topper. And as the rare kid my age who does like the NPG, I
would like to say, on behalf of my truely ecclectic musical taste, welcome to
the prog-rock world, Prince. As a fan of King Crimson and most other 70's
prog-rockers (i.e432., Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, U.K., Frank Zappa, 801, Uriah
Heep), and some modern ones (i.e., Radiohead, Terrence Trent D'arby, Tony
Levin Band, John Paul Jones, Lake Trout and anything Les Claypool or
Buckethead are involved with), you have joined a group of musicians that
aren't appreciated nearly enough, simply because they refuse to mold their
musical beliefs. In short, they refuse to sell out. AND DEAR GOD, THANK
YOU! Your show was soooooooooo good, so genre-blending and so intense, it
was incredible. It is so great to see someone on stage that is happy to be
there, and even more important, know what to do when they get up there. And
to see genuine appreciation for their fans, I don't think Id get that with
anyone kids my age like. I dunno, I just dont think that The Strokes or The
White Stripes could make me feel like a friend, not a dollar sign. So keep
up the good work, I know you will. Thank you!
